Update to NuCDN’s Free All-in-One Website Security Plan

Website Security Plan Update

Update to NuCDN’s Free All-in-One Website Security Plan

We’re making a change to how our free All-in-One Website Security plan works. Starting with new orders, free CDN access will no longer be included in the plan. Instead, the free plan will focus on providing access to our website scanner, which users can use to check their websites for potential security issues.

We know some of you rely on our free CDN, so we want to explain what is changing, why we’re making this adjustment, and what it means for existing users.

What’s changing?

Previously, our free All-in-One Website Security plan included CDN access alongside our website security features. Going forward, new orders will only include access to the free website scanner.

The scanner will remain available for users who want to check their websites for potential security issues without subscribing to a paid service. However, free CDN access will no longer be part of the free plan for new registrations.

What about existing users?

If you’re already using our free All-in-One Website Security plan and have CDN access, your service will not be affected by this change.

Your existing free CDN access will remain available as it is today. We are not removing access from existing users as part of this update, and you don’t need to take any action.

To be clear, this change applies to new orders only. If you already have an active free plan with CDN access, you can continue using your current service without being affected by this announcement.

Why are we making this change?

As we continue developing NuCDN and our website security services, we’re reviewing how our free and paid offerings are structured. This change allows us to adjust what we offer to new users while keeping existing users’ services intact.

We still want to provide a way for website owners to check their websites for potential security issues without having to purchase a plan. That’s why our free website scanner will remain available as the main offering under the free plan.

What does the free plan include now?

For new orders, the free All-in-One Website Security plan will provide access to our free website scanner. Users can use it to scan their websites and identify potential security issues.

Free CDN access will no longer be included with new free orders. Users who need CDN services will need to explore the other available options offered by NuCDN.

A note for our community

We understand that changes to free services can be frustrating, especially for those looking for an easy way to get started with website security and CDN services.

We want to make one thing clear: existing free CDN users are not losing their access because of this change. We’re only changing what is included for new orders going forward.

Thank you to everyone who continues to use NuCDN and support what we’re building. We appreciate your understanding as we make these adjustments to our services.
